Art Thieves - help stop them

I hate art thieves! There is a special place in hell for such lowlifes!

On Facebook I found fellow artist Italia Ruotolo's posting, and she was visibly upset: "Fellows artists look what this assholes stealers are doing ! The are taking our photos from the web selling prints without permission ! Check out the link and search if you are in http://wallpart.com/search?keyword=italia+ruotolo " (read below why this link shows no results anymore).

. Then lets sign the petition to stop them and shut off the site:

Because it's illegal just selling people's stuff without permission
Remove this Site ---> Wallpart.com

PS: at least one other artist (commenting on my own facebook post)
was surprised to find his art had been stolen as well!

UPDATE:

they are sneaky - I also found my work on there, but once you save the search link, it isn't there anymore (disappears and returns a no result page) - you have to start with a new screen - and I would recommend (if you are on google chrome) to use a <New incognito window> - anyway, I took a screenshot and sent them a lawyer threat .....

Kurator und Ideengeber Reinhard Schmid organisiert zusammen mit der Stadt Viechtach eine noch nie dagewesene Kunstshow: Bei der „Phantastischen Venus“ werden 70 (!) Künstlerinnen aus 23 Ländern ihre Werke in Viechtach präsentieren.

Opening 24th of July 2015

Throughout history, art created by women was often denied the attention it deserves. Over the recent years, artist and curator Reinhard Schmid discovered a wealth of female talent and wants to show it in proper proportion to art created by men. Therefore an exhibition planed in 2015 is to demonstrate the importance, skill and imagination of female artists on an unprecedented level. It will be the first of its kind, bringing together 70 female professional artists working in the field of fantastic art, magical realism or similar from all over the world.

Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Saturday 10 AM to 1 PM
Sunday 10 to 12 AM (until Sept. 27th)
Sunday 2 PM to 4 PM on 26.7./09.8/23.8/6.9/13.9/20.9/4.10/18/10 Sunday 1.11 closed
